Holmes Soil & Water Conservation District 2026 Tree Sale

Planting Trees for Conservation Today, Growing Tomorrow!

Tree Pickup: April 2nd from 8:00am - 5:30pm at Harvest Ridge

Well, the first to sell out is here, we no longer have the large quantity White Oak packs available and we are getting short on Paw Paw, don’t worry if you already mailed your form, we will contact you if we need to refund or make other arrangements.

This year we will be offering 24 different types of bare root seedlings.  Some new offerings this year include Red Oak, American Hazelnut, American Plum, Allegheny Serviceberry, and Winterberry.  Unfortunately our nursery did not have American Chestnut available this year.

We are also again offering two (2) different types of tree tubes if you want to protect your seedlings.  This year it will not only be two different manufacturers, but each with a different size tube (and stake).  You asked for variety and we’ve done our best to deliver.  If you want more information about each of the types, see the link to the left for each of the producers websites, however, order from our tree sale and get the bulk rate pricing we are able to obtain.

We are always looking ahead, if you’ve got a tree species that you’ve been itching to get and didn’t see, let us know, we are always looking to keep the list fresh and still maintain those species everyone wants.

Click Here for the tree species descriptions. And check out one of the easy guides to the left if you have questions about spacing, planting and more.

Over the last 3 years the White Oak has grown out of it’s 72” Plantra tree tube, but so has the Buckeye (yes this is the lab variety).
