New life for your natural Christmas Tree
The Holmes Soil & Water Conservation District and Scouters of Holmes County are once again offering a natural Christmas tree recycling program this year. When the holidays are over, natural Christmas trees will be collected and turned into brush piles for wildlife by the Scouts. Brush piles provide wildlife with shelter and protection from predators.
Trees can be dropped off at five locations from the December 26th to January 16, 2026:
Millersburg: the rear parking lot of the Holmes Soil & Water Conservation District office (Ag Service Center) at 62 West Clinton St
Killbuck: parking lot of the Killbuck Community Park at 9779 School St
Walnut Creek: Harvey’s Market, 3463 State Route 39
Holmesville: Harvey’s Market, 9079 State Route 83
Nashville: Harvey’s Market, 12636 State Route 39
